The referendum in Russia has paved the way for Vladimir Putin to remain President of Russia until 2036.
According to preliminary results from the Russian Election Commission, 73% of Russians voted in favor of the proposed constitutional reforms in a referendum.
Following the proposed constitutional reforms, the Russian president has been re-elected twice.
